We have now reached the second month of the year and that means that changes have been made to the rights and obligations of employees and employers. FHI's Framework Employment Conditions Agreement (RAO) has been adapted to this new legislation.
The most important changes in the RAO 2022 at a glance:
- 2.3 Supplemented with the sentence 'In addition, the employment contract can be terminated by mutual consent by means of a written termination agreement.'
- 2.5 Text of statutory notice period for employees who were 45 years old on January 1, 1999 (old scheme) has been removed.
- Adjustment of the amounts regarding the transition compensation.
- 5.5.2 Added: the Paid Parental Leave Act (Wbo) effective from August 2, 2022.
- 5.5.3 Life-course leave has been removed; abolished as of January 1, 2012 and the transitional arrangement lasted until January 1, 2022.
- 9 Study Regulations, Supplemented: As of August 1, 2022, the employer must offer the employee free of charge training that the employee is obliged to follow under the law or collective labor agreement.
- Furthermore, many textual changes have been made.
