The AX'UP scanner was developed by AXEM Technology to scan 1D/2D barcodes and UHF RFID tags with a single device. This makes migrating from barcode to RFID easy, without having to use duplicate hardware. Because the barcode scanner and the proprietary UHF antenna are located on the front of the housing, the scanner is very user-friendly. The desired scanning action can be selected with two buttons. Depending on the RFID tag, the scanner has a reading distance of up to approximately 2 meters.
The AX'UP was developed with sustainability as one of its core principles. AXEM guarantees that spare parts will be available for at least 15 years, and the various internal modules, such as the charging circuit, are designed as interchangeable piggybacks and are therefore repairable. The scanner is available with a straight, coiled cable, or wireless Bluetooth and is IP54-rated.
