King & Hartman has various solutions to shut down crucial processes and store data safely in the event of a power outage.
A first which we will also be showing at the Machine Construction event is the new All-In-One Security Power Module.
These modules combine a power supply, a DC-UPS and a battery charger in one and are barely wider than a standard DIN rail power supply.
This means that without having to make major adjustments, critical circuits in the machine can easily be protected against power outages for the time required by simple exchange in the cabinet.
The All-In-One Security Power Modules automatically switch to the backup battery without interruption in the event of a power failure and provide an alarm via relay contacts so that safe shutdown can be initiated.
Communication and settings can be made via the standard built-in Modbus interface.
