For 2024, VELP has modified the NDA 702 Dumas Analyzer for nitrogen and protein determination on a number of points. The Dumas combustion method is now becoming a reference technique due to its precision, reproducibility and efficiency. That is why VELP continues to develop the Dumas analyzers. With the updates now introduced, the efficiency of loading samples has been improved, the usability of the DUMASoftT.M-software facilitates and enables compliance with FDA regulations.

Because VELP has switched from a pneumatic to an electronic autosampler, loading samples is now even more reliable and no compressed air line is needed in the laboratory. The DUMASoftT.M-software has undergone a comprehensive makeover and features a new graphical user interface. In addition, the software now features user control (UAC) with different levels of authorizations and permissions according to GLP. Finally, the NDA 702 software can be upgraded with the optional 21 CFR Part 11 package for laboratories in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries where compliance with FDA regulations is required. VELP 21 CFR Part 11 Package helps laboratories achieve full compliance with Subpart B (Electronic Documents) and Subpart C (Electronic Signatures) of the regulation.

Thanks to the Dumas method, the NDA 702 was already significantly faster, simpler and safer than a traditional Kjeldahl system, and the best solution for high-throughput laboratories looking for a fast and safe analyzer with the possibility to choose between helium and argon as carrier gas. With the 2024 modifications, the VELP NDA 702 Dumas analyzer is even more versatile.
