After numerous tests and extensive knowledge gained during the development process, the Green Line connectors are now going into series production, as the first in a growing family of components. But what exactly are Green Plastics?

Few doubt that humanity must quickly reduce its ecological footprint. Scientific findings show that our climate is changing faster than predicted.

At SCHURTER's headquarters in Lucerne, the brightest minds and most resourceful engineers are therefore working intensively on new types of plastics. These are technical polymers based on renewable, plant-based raw materials. These plastics replace and complement the crude oil-based materials in the housings of various connectors.
