A large capacity may also be desirable for compact laboratory freeze dryers. A few years ago, Martin Christ released the rectangular stainless steel LyoCube drying chamber, as an alternative to the well-known round chambers, for users who are looking for maximum capacity in a laboratory freeze dryer.

For samples without solvent, the LyoCube is also available in acrylic glass (PMMA) version, instead of stainless steel. A rack with five unheated plates, spaced 70mm apart, is also available for this purpose. This provides a large effective surface area at low cost.

Compared to a round acrylic chamber, the LyoCube offers the additional advantage that the chamber is easily accessible via the door on the front.

The LyoCube can be combined with an extensive range of accessories, such as product trays or racks for microtiter plates.

The specialists at Salm and Kipp can put together a specific configuration for every application. You will find the LyoCube and our specialists at WoTS stand 7B046.
