Due to new thermal and technical developments, it is possible to realize various successful integrations of heat pipes in new high-power LED applications (see image). In addition to the LED market, this heat pipe technology also finds its way into various industrial applications.

 

Heat pipes with a high thermal conductivity (> 3,000 W/mK and more), are lightweight and cheap. There are various technologies available, but with the help of a thermal engineering/software consultancy, our engineers guarantee you the best thermal performance, as total product/assembly integration is crucial.

Several options are possible regarding the number of available diameters (even more than 20 mm). In addition, there is a choice of different materials, multiple liquids (for example with methanol we can go to -30◦C), slim versions (0.4 mm), flexible types and lengths that can reach more than 50 cm. In addition to the heat transfer from point A to point B using a heat pipe, we can also realize these high heat transfers in larger surfaces using a vapor chamber.
