Datalogic has introduced 2 new versions in the SG4 Base and SG4 Body Compact series.
Both light displays are an addition to the existing program. This makes Vierpool even better able to make optimal use of the right light screen in your application.
In safety applications, a specific controller is used, which ensures that there are also light curtains that only have the basic functionality. In that situation, the controller takes care of the EDM and manual restart. In addition, the connection connector has also been simplified. For example, the basic model no longer has EDM and manual restart, so the receiver of the light screen is equipped with a 5-way connector. This type of light curtain is easily interchangeable with the SG2 Base, the SG4 Body compact and other light curtains with 5-way connection plugs.
The advantages of the new SG4 Base and the SG4 body compact: Easier and faster to install (only 5 wires to connect and no functions to switch on or off on the light screen).
- Cost-saving because it only has an automatic restart function and the use of a 5-way cable (instead of 8-way).
- Because the 5-way plug is used as a standard, it can easily be used as a replacement for the light screens on the market.
