In the previous blog we wrote about the repositioning from Gepro. Our right brain has been stimulated in a creative way and thought has been given to formulating our core values briefly and powerfully. But we also thought about Gepro's identity colors. To this day it is green, but after the session it has become a beautiful color palette. Why?

Colors evoke emotions

In addition to colleagues, customers and suppliers were also present in our workshop. Dimphy van Heusden (Brand Explorer from DNA/LTB) indicated that this variation in company gives a good idea of how people view Gepro.
It was explained that colors influence the identity of your company. Let's take the color red as an example. It is an activating color and evokes a variety of emotions from aggression and danger to warmth, romance and passion. The color red doesn't really suit us, but which one does?

They have become four colors that can be associated 1-on-1 with our four new core values:

  • Sprinting skills
  • Exploring
  • Realizers
  • Connectors

The Gepro color palette

When we speak in terms of color psychology,... science and emotion inextricably connected

During the workshop we were asked which colors should be considered at Gepro. It was surprising to see that the entire color spectrum was covered.

Ultimately we ended up with a color palette of four colors. These four are connected to our core values, to complete the circle.

The marketing agency has provided a brief explanation for each color, which we include in full in the chapters below.

Decisive Blue & Sprint-ready Petrol

Blue is the color of the sky and the sea. It is a color that represents the mind, intelligence and
mind. Blue is seen as the color of trust, clear communication and
reliability.

With blue clothing you radiate balance, efficiency and stability. In a
blue space makes you productive. More associations with the color blue are loyal, patient,
sympathetic, kindness, truth.

We don't just choose the 'standard blue', but two different shades on one side
for the sprinting skills (lighter blue) and on the other side it decisive, tough
(dark blue). So our first two colors are light and dark blue.

Exploring Purple

Purple is a generous color and represents creativity, exclusivity, originality, wisdom,
passion, calm, dreams and spirituality.

We choose a lighter purple variant, which represents it exploratory character.

Connecting Green

The color Green has continued to exist in our color palette.

Green is the color of balance, harmony and growth. The color green is calm and makes you pour
abundance everything you need in this life. Green is also the color of nature and the future, has a calming effect on the body and mind and represents insight, wisdom and dedication.

The chosen color green represents it connecting character of our company

Even more change…

In addition to the core values and colors, we have changed something… the last piece of Gepro identity….
But I'll come back to that next time... If you have any questions, don't hesitate Contact to record!
