InnoAGE™ SSD from Innodisk connected via Microsoft Azure Sphere

Innodisk recently introduced the innovative product InnoAGE™ SSD, an SSD built with Microsoft Azure Sphere, at the Innodisk AIoT conference. This new system enables multi-functional management: smart data analysis and updates, data security and remote control via the cloud, while harnessing the power of Azure Sphere to ensure secure communication between the SSD and the cloud. Working with Microsoft on this system has allowed Innodisk to break new ground in security and deliver incredible value to customers. InnoAGE™ SSD is one of the few products specifically designed for AIoT architecture.

The Innodisk InnoAGE™ SSD is designed to provide secure connectivity, error reporting and device updates. An easy-to-use interface with a custom cloud management platform. Technically, the Innodisk firmware receives commands from Azure Sphere over a secure connection to Azure. Therefore, it is possible to output SSD debug messages, monitor read/write behavior that extends the life of the storage system. Most importantly, in the event of a device or system crash, you can quickly revert to the default setting from the cloud-based settings menu. In other words, the InnoAGE SSD™ is designed for both in-band and out-of-band network management, providing full recovery even when the operating system fails or is severely compromised, where in-band management can provide little help.

InnoAGE SSD™ is the first SSD designed for remote recovery of hardware and software, a patented innovation. As an end-to-end edge and cloud system, InnoAGE SSD™ works together with real-time monitoring applications and provides the irreplaceable experience of working with the AIoT generation.
