Ymif Engineering BV has expanded its portfolio of safe and successful industrial battery systems with an innovative home battery with a capacity of 9.5 kW/h. This development follows previous achievements in which battery systems up to 1 MW/h were realized, and marks an important step in the transition to sustainable energy storage at the household level.

Energy storage in anticipation of netting scheme

The introduction of this home battery comes at an important time, in anticipation of the phasing out of the net metering scheme. To offer households the opportunity to make optimal use of self-generated energy, Ymif Engineering BV has developed the new system and successfully put it into production.

Ymif chooses Lithium iron phosphate batteries

An important feature of this home battery is the choice of Lithium iron phosphate batteries, which were chosen by Ymif Engineering for this application because of their intrinsic safety. What makes this system unique is the implementation of a three-phase connection, making it able to independently vary the load per phase. This happens independently of the grid distribution in the home and the neighborhood. This allows the system to make optimal use of dynamic hourly rates offered by different grid operators using a smart algorithm.

Self-learning software for daily energy management

The intelligence of the system is further enhanced by advanced self-learning software. This smart software enables the system to analyze and understand daily patterns, allowing energy consumption to be used in an optimal way. This means that the system is not only able to respond to dynamic rates, but also to efficiently use available energy sources based on individual user patterns.

Ymif's home battery as a pioneer in energy storage

With these advanced technological developments, Ymif Engineering BV is taking an important step towards sustainable, self-sufficient energy storage for households. The combination of safe lithium iron phosphate batteries, a three-phase connection and intelligent self-learning software makes this system a forerunner in the evolution of home batteries. It promises not only improved energy efficiency, but also seamless integration into the ever-changing energy landscapes of homes and neighborhoods.
