Interview – Pneutec hopes to reach multiple target groups through the FEDA Lounge
The FEDA Lounge can be found at the World of Motion & Drives. A number of FEDA members will present their innovative products at this pavilion. One of them is Pneutec. We speak briefly with Mark Dijkstra, business development manager at Pneutec.
It is the first time for Pneutec to be found at the WoTS, and the FEDA Lounge in particular: “Ten years ago we participated in the power transmission fair,” says Dijkstra. “We are working to reposition ourselves on the market and show ourselves more, because it is important, especially after the Covid period, to come into contact with people even more.”
“The FEDA has a nice pavilion on the WoTS exhibition floor for this purpose. And we have therefore decided: let us participate in this as Pneutec. This way we can assess whether we like it and hopefully there will be a positive effect of working together through the lounge. Pneutec is active in several markets, this is how Dijkstra describes the company: “We have two business units. One of them mainly works for the semiconductor industry. The other unit, Material Handling, supplies pneumatic solutions and vacuum techniques to machine builders in, among others, the packaging industry and the logistics chain.”
“We represent a number of brands in the Netherlands. In the field of vacuum technology this is PIAB. PIAB is one of the largest vacuum automation companies in the world. They are fully aware of the latest developments, such as connectivity. Together with our knowledge, we want to convey this to the visitor.”
And on the WoTS exhibition floor, the manager expects Pneutec to reach exactly the right target groups: “With our participation in the WoTS, we think we will meet a large part of our target group. These are not only the visitors, but also companies with a stand. So I think our participation is a good way to get in touch with many companies.”
Pneutec will also be showing some things at the FEDA Lounge: “Cobotization is an interesting development,” says Dijkstra. “We want to be at the fair together with a partner who supplies us with a cobot. We then have our gripping module underneath, a very nice technology.”
