Meet your network and learn about Cyber Security and KNX Secure during the KNX network event on Thursday 7 July. Starting at 15:00 at Restaurant de Hall in Woerden, Martin van der Poel and Vincent Meij will give interesting lectures. After this, we will split up into break-out sessions and you can attend two workshops by several KNX manufacturers. We will conclude with a pleasant networking drink and afterwards you will receive the latest KNX whitepaper to take home.

In his presentation 'As strong as the weakest link' Martin van der Poel, owner of Zeta IT Security BV, you look through the eyes of a hacker. This way you experience the importance of an up-to-date and secure IT solution in which every component is visible. Do you have a complete overview of your customer's IT and KNX environment and are you aware of the weak links in these environments?

Then tells Vincent Meij you everything about (data) security in smart homes and specifically the expansion of the KNX protocol with data and IP secure. He will show practical examples from the ETS. With the connection of KNX installations to more and more (often) consumer-oriented products and solutions, we have to look more critically at the security of the KNX installations that we realize.

In the break-out sessions you will be given the choice to follow two of the five workshops on KNX-secure products. These are given by our manufacturers Siemens, Theben, Jung, Gira & Mean Well. View the content of the workshops here.
