This year, the international KNX protocol (including its predecessors) has existed for exactly 30 years. Throughout the year, KNX organizes various actions and moments of interest worldwide to draw attention to this anniversary. Each month focuses on a special promotion or topic, with which KNX involves and activates the community. On October 20 – the day that KNX has existed for exactly 30 years – the national KNX organizations will organize an event in as many countries as possible in the world where 'KNX is 30 years' will receive attention.
KNX's actions can be followed online via the hashtag #KNXis30. Using this hashtag, anyone who wants to celebrate the 30th anniversary with KNX can also share their own contribution to the theme of that month. In April it's all about the most beautiful memories that have shaped KNX over the past 30 years. Every contribution is welcome, KNX is very curious to see what memories from the past emerge. KNX Association social media posts share letters that together form a slogan. Various prizes can be won, including ETS licenses.
KNX Anniversary
KNX is currently active in 160 countries worldwide and this would never have been possible without all the installers, system integrators and KNX manufacturers involved. The 30th anniversary of KNX is therefore also the anniversary of everyone involved, according to KNX Association. She therefore invites all KNX Professionals to share their experiences with KNX during this festive year. For example, by emailing the most beautiful KNX project, so that KNX can share it on social media in the month dedicated to KNX projects. It is also possible to send a nice, short video of congratulations to KNX, so that it can be shared by KNX with the anniversary hashtag!
