• German biotech group CureVac is in exploratory talks with the European Commission for the purchase of 225 million doses of a potential coronavirus vaccine from the company. With the negotiations, the EU wants to secure vaccines for all EU member states, writes Het Nieuwsblad.
  • Dissatisfaction with the Dutch government's approach to the coronavirus is growing. There is also more disagreement between Dutch people who find the policy too strict and the group that believes the government should take a tougher approach, reports the AD based on a survey among 1077 Dutch people.
  • In June, the volume of investments in tangible fixed assets by Dutch companies was 5.6 percent smaller than in June 2019. The contraction is considerably smaller than in April and May, when the contraction was 11 and 19 percent respectively. More is being invested in buildings and infrastructure in particular, says CBS.
