• A third support package for companies that have run into problems due to the corona crisis seems close. According to NOS the coalition is close to an agreement. However, the current support measures, which run until October 1, will be weakened. In particular, the NOW scheme will be overhauled. The package may be announced on Friday.
  • World trade shows a decline of 12.5 percent in the second quarter. However, the month of June shows an upward trend, as the CPB reports: growth in that month amounted to 7.6 percent.

  • The RIVM sees little point in using UV-C light to purify the air in public spaces from the pathogenic coronavirus. According to The Telegraph is that possibly a setback for lamp maker Signify. That company is focusing on UV-C as a corona fighter.
