- The RIVM reports 8966 new confirmed corona infections on Friday, 214 more than yesterday. The average number of positive tests is rising. Hospital occupancy increased slightly.
- Pfizer let NOS know that the pharmaceutical company can accelerate the delivery of between 144,000 and 230,000 vaccines per week from the end of April. This will make more vaccines available to the Netherlands in the short term.
- Wage costs did not increase for the first time in years in 2020. Companies spent almost 385 billion euros on wage costs last year, 2 billion euros less than in 2019. This is partly due to the NOW scheme, reports CBSHowever, due to a decrease in the number of hours worked, labor costs per hour worked rose by 3.1 percent.
- The British think tank New Financial concludes based on own research that more than four hundred financial companies from Great Britain have relocated activities, staff and around a thousand billion pounds (around 1.15 trillion euros) to the EU. Dublin in particular is popular as a location, Amsterdam is in fifth place.
