• The RIVM reported on Tuesday that 29,977 new positive tests were recorded last week, a weekly increase of 19 percent. This is partly due to the increase in the number of tests taken. The R number has risen slightly to 0.99. According to the RIVM, models show that the Netherlands is heading for a third wave.
  • The government will announce tonight that all contact professions except sex work will be allowed again from Wednesday 3 March. Shopping by appointment will also be possible again from that date. Secondary education and vocational education will partially open, writes the FD.
