Discover in advance what it will be about.

December 12th is the day again: time for the Machinebouw event of the industry association FHI. This day is all about networking, getting inspired and sharing knowledge, and is about the practical applicability of Industry 4.0, Big Data, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for the machine building industry and its customers. The theme is: machine building, from traditional to smart. It promises to be an interesting and educational day.

As a machine builder in a new market
Due to rapid changes and continuous technological developments, companies are faced with tough decisions. Matthijs: “It is tempting to stick to known markets, but entering a new market can certainly be a wise choice.” AWL, the company he works for, has successfully entered such a new market. “In addition to our existing customers in the automotive and metalworking industries, we are now also innovating as a machine builder in the logistics market.”

“I want to inspire people with my words, so that they themselves get motivation and ideas to get started with them.” – Matthijs

Key questions for innovation
During his session, he focuses on questions that arise when entering a new market. Matthijs: “For example: how do you succeed in a new environment, how do you use your strengths and how do you minimize your weaknesses?” He shares his own experiences as a business developer, and provides practical insights and best practices that you can use yourself. Matthijs: “I want to entertain and inspire the listeners.”
