Lobby results SME-Netherlands spring 2025
FHI is affiliated with MKB-Nederland (the Dutch Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) and represents the interests of its members. Every year, MKB-Nederland publishes its lobbying results and an overview of ongoing projects. The publication summarizes the various topics and projects that MKB-Nederland has worked on over the past year. These topics range from the Transition of Pension Contracts, Cash Limits, and the Water Framework Directive. Download the publication for the full overview.
Lobby results
The lobbying results can be categorized into the following themes: legislation and regulations, education, sustainability, and strengthening the internal market. MKB-Nederland has not been idle and has achieved impressive results across a broad front. One of the most important points MKB-Nederland lobbies for is stable and predictable government policy. MKB-Nederland continues to emphasize this, even in the run-up to the elections.
Projects
The current projects offer an impressive list of initiatives aimed at making life easier for entrepreneurs. These projects often serve both as information and as practical tools, helping entrepreneurs with cybersecurity, for example. "Samen Digitaal Veilig" (Secure Digitally Together) is an initiative of MKB-Nederland and VNO-NCW. DEB is another example of a successful project. This project offers entrepreneurs various tools to work on smart energy management: from orientation to implementation.
Day of the Entrepreneur
Friday, November 21st is Entrepreneur's Day. Traditionally, a delegation from MKB-Nederland and a member of the House of Representatives will visit several members on this festive day. Interested? Contact FHI using the contact form below.
