Magnetic multiturn angle sensors: NOVOTURN MC1-2800
Novotechnik introduces the ultra-compact multiturn angle sensor MC1-2800, which with a diameter of only 30 mm, a measuring range of 44 revolutions (15840°) and an accuracy of 0.5° works reliably even under extreme conditions.
The sensor uses non-contact GMR technology, which enables it to provide absolute position measurements without reference signals, power supply or backup batteries. The “True-power-on” system provides correct measurement values immediately after power-up, even in a power-free state.
With digital interfaces such as CANopen and IO-Link supports the MC1-2800 resolutions up to 16 bit and offers smart functions for condition monitoring. Thanks to its robust design (protection class up to IP67), the sensor is suitable for demanding applications in vehicles and industrial environments.
