Microfluidics, small particles, big results
Microfluidics' Microfluidizer liquid processors set the standard for nano-emulsion and nano-particle applications in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and cosmetics.
This is the leading technology for targeted particle reduction in liquids at a constant pressure according to a constant distribution profile. It is a guaranteed reproducible process that makes scaling up from lab to production truly possible.
How it works
The heart of the Microfluidizer is the interaction chamber with the unique “parallel path microchannel” architecture where the particles are reduced to nano-size by the high shear force and pressure that can reach up to 40,000 PSI, or more than 2,750 Bar. This results in a more uniform particle size, better product stability, longer shelf life, higher yield, lower sterilization costs and therefore lower production costs.
Microfluidizers are available for lab, pilot or production scale.
During WoTS 2024, a compact LM10 Microfluidizer will be on display at the SALM EN KIPP stand (7B046).
