The Minisymposium Substances starts on Wednesday 21 April 2021 from 13:15 to 17:00. The event is organised every six months by the Ministry of IenW and SZW together with VNO-NCW, VNCI and WECF. The chairman of this edition is Kees Hoppener, deputy director of the Directorate of Environmental Safety and Environmental Risks of IenW.

The theme this time is: the Safety Data Sheet and the opportunities and bottlenecks it offers for healthy working with substances. The speakers will discuss this theme from different angles.

During the break, questions can be submitted in response to the presentations given. After the break, the chair will submit questions to the panel consisting of the four speakers. Questions can also be added after the break.

3:30 p.m       Panel discussion:

A panel discussion will take place with the speakers and the audience in the room about the questions asked and the possibilities for improving the knowledge sharing system and tools such as the VIB. The suggestions of the participants will be collected by SZW and RIVM.
