New employment conditions note focuses on agile companies in times of crisis
Every year, the employers' organizations AWVN, VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland present their joint employment conditions memorandum, in which they set out the points of interest for the employment conditions consultation from an employer's perspective.
This year the note has the title 'Chess on multiple boards, employment conditions in uncertain times', a reference to the difficult times in which many companies find themselves as a result of the corona crisis.
According to the employers' organizations, the magic word in this crisis is 'agility'. Flexible, agile business operations and production processes can serve as a 'vaccine'. Employers and employees must respond to more flexible working hours and workplaces. According to the authors, positions and remuneration agreements must also evolve more with the business situation. That is why employers want to focus on 'flexible' employment conditions.
