The application period for the Corona Bridging Loan (COL) has been extended until 30 June at the latest. This scheme is aimed at innovative companies and start-ups that have run into problems as a result of the corona crisis.

The Cabinet has decided to extend this scheme because the economic recovery has still not taken place as a result of the ongoing corona crisis. In addition, of the 300 million euros that was made available for the COL scheme, approximately 35 million euros remained.

Entrepreneurs can apply for the COL scheme via the website from startup organization Techleap. Start-ups that have already received a loan cannot apply again. The applications are assessed by the Regional Development Companies that have been established by the government. The startups must demonstrate, among other things, that they have an investment need and are suffering from the corona crisis.

The scheme is also open to innovative SMEs that have financed their growth with their own capital in recent years. The loan amount can be between 50,000 and 2 million euros. Earlier to inform we are talking about six other investment funds that have been opened for Dutch startups to get through this corona crisis.
