Block's ESG inrush current limiters prevent unwanted tripping of circuit breakers when switching on electrical appliances. Large inrush currents are caused, for example, by simultaneously switching on LED drivers.
The new ESG6 recognizes when the device behind the unit is switched off and will therefore limit the current again when the device is switched on. Furthermore, it is equipped with a dynamic limiting time and an integrated temperature fuse.
