Newsletter: Review of Power Electronics, AGM and event calendar autumn 2020
Every quarter, the members of the Industrial Electronics branch receive a newsletter with an update on new meetings, activities and other matters that play a role in the sector. The aim of these newsletters is to strengthen the provision of information to you, as a member.

Review of digital Power Electronics event 2020
Last week it happened... It lasted for three days digital Power Electronics event took place. We look back with pride on this online event, which was converted from a physical event to a digital event in a short time. With this we were also able to kick off the very first digital event held at FHI. It was exciting, but together with the exhibitors and be
seekers, we managed to organize a very nice event with a strong program. Well 500 viewers attended one or more webinars during the event, thanks to everyone involved.
Interactions are also possible online
Interactions at an appropriate distance via an online platform are possible, as the Power Electronics event has proven. The public was asked for their opinion via polls. Professional knowledge was also tested by asking various questions to the audience.
In addition, unforeseen circumstances brought about some special situations. For example, an ambulance rushing by caused a brief disruption and we were briefly out of service due to a power outage. No matter how ironic, it proves once again that we cannot do without Power electronics. Read more…
General membership meeting and event calendar autumn 2020
Due to the great success during the digital Power Electronics event, it has been decided to continue a number of events in digital form this autumn. For the time being, we will hold the events digitally, and at the end of the year we will check whether there are possibilities for physical events again in the spring of 2021.
Below you will find an overview of the events planned for this fall. We would also like to draw your attention to the General meeting which will take place on Thursday October 1. We hope to welcome you during the AGM. We will inform you at a later time whether this will take place physically or digitally.
Some events only have a week number listed, please keep in mind that these are two to three day events in digital form. We will inform you at a later time about the exact days on which the event will take place in the relevant week.
