Entrepreneurs can again apply for the TVL scheme
From Monday 15 February, SME entrepreneurs who were affected by the corona measures in the first quarter of 2021 can apply for the Fixed Costs Compensation (TVL). According to the central government, the scheme is open to all sectors, but the exact details of the compensation are not yet entirely clear.
The adjustments and extensions to the old TVL scheme, such as opening it up to larger companies, lowering the fixed costs threshold and the higher subsidy percentage, will be implemented at a later stage. The government is waiting for approval by the European Commission, among other things, as reported by the Central Government on her site.
Currently, the TVL scheme for Q1 2021 can only be applied for by entrepreneurs who have previously used the scheme. The conditions from December will still apply to them. After approval by the EC, the new conditions will be paid out by the RVO as an additional advance.
From 18 February, entrepreneurs active in the events industry can submit an application for the so-called Events Module Q4 2020. Many entrepreneurs in this industry were unable to qualify for previous TVL schemes due to the seasonal nature of their work.
For more information, the Dutch government has a special page furnished. The Chamber of Commerce also provides information to entrepreneurs about the arrangements. You can also contact the corona file from FHI.
