Power Electronics & Energy Storage event kicks off on June 14

It will burst in almost two weeks Power Electronics & Energy storage event loose in the 1931 Congress Center in Den Bosch. Preparations are in full swing and visitor numbers are steadily increasing. This year we have an extra varied program with no fewer than 27 presentations, including two plenary speakers, and 33 stands.

Chief engineer Hidde de Bos van Delft Hyperloop okicks off the event with a lecture about one of the most spectacular inventions of this decade: the hyperloop. This magnetic levitation train has the potential to 'float' through a vacuum tube at 1000 km per hour. This will make it possible in the future to travel from Amsterdam to Paris within half an hour. You don't want to miss this presentation!

After the opening lecture you can choose from 4 tracks in total 25 inspiring lectures. The day will be closed by engineers Nico Baars and Usman Hassan van Strukton Power. They are working on the first electrically powered locomotive with a battery in the Netherlands for railway maintenance. The sustainable locomotive is attracting both national and international attention and is expected to run on the tracks at the end of the year.
