Producer confidence grows in February

In the industry, producer confidence increased from 5.8 in January to 6.3 in February. Entrepreneurs mainly have a more positive opinion about the stocks.

That reports CBS. Since October 2014, positive entrepreneurs in the industry have predominated in the producer confidence index. The average over the past twenty years is 0.9, with a negative value of 23.5 in February 2009.

The figures show that entrepreneurs were mainly more positive about inventories. However, they are slightly less optimistic about the order book and expected activity.
