Controlled room temperature cabinets are specifically designed to store medications that are not normally stored in a pharmacy refrigerator. Manufacturers generally guarantee the performance of their drugs as long as they are stored below 75 degrees Fahrenheit (25°C).
In hot weather, ambient temperatures will rise above this level, raising concerns as their efficacy can drop rapidly.
