More than 5,800 employers must repay wage support

- The RIVM reports 64,602 positive corona tests on Thursday. The average number is still rising, but the RIVM is struggling with backlogs in processing.
- About 70 percent of the companies that received NOW wage support in the first round of 2020 must repay (part of) it. This concerns more than 5,800 employers who owe 160 million euros. This is because the turnover often turned out to be higher, writes Minister Karien van Gennip in a letter to the House of Representatives.
- Tesla has a 2021 record profit made of 5.5 billion dollars. The demand for electric cars increased sharply. Tesla wants to produce 50 percent more cars this year than in 2021, but the Cybertruck is delayed.
