The transport of goods flows in industry will be discussed during the seminar program on September 30. From 9 am, various experts from the industry will highlight cases around pneumatic transport, blowers, compressors, ATEX zoning, filters and screw conveyors. Aspects such as safety, efficiency and effectiveness will also be discussed. You can register for free for a visit to this seminar program and of course a visit to WoTS 2022.

Eric Hartings from Somatec Process Technology discusses pneumatic transport. Air is used for this in a system consisting of a pump, filters, pipes and suction pipe or lock. Hartings will show how pneumatic transport works in practice in the industry. He will also provide insight into how choices are made in the effectiveness and efficiency of air transport systems.

Also Ted van Bavel (TBMA) focuses on pneumatic transport. Van Bavel will focus in particular on the various components that are needed to make a system work efficiently. ATEX and autonomous protection will also be discussed.

During the lecture of Tim van Haren (AERZEN) the type of transport, the selected machine, the properties of the product to be moved and the ATEX zoning are discussed. These aspects determine whether filtration, air drying, air cooling, pressure control is required in a pneumatic transport system.

Joram van der Heijden (Van Beek) focuses on screw conveyors. These are used for moving, dosing and feeding bulk goods in industry. Van der Heijden will discuss which screw conveyor is most suitable for a specific application. Matters such as drive and vertical transport will also be discussed.

The seminar program will be concluded by Jos Kuijlenburg (Donaldson). He discusses the filtration technology needed in pneumatic conveying. The focus is on new technologies, minimizing downtime by choosing the right design and minimizing particulate matter.
