Based on highly accurate zeroflux current sensors, Signaltec supplies single and multi-channel transducer systems for precision current measurements in various test and measurement applications. With specialist knowledge of the requirements of power analysis and loss calculations, Signaltec developed test equipment for the power electronics and electric drive market. The focus of this supplier is on achieving the highest accuracy of current measurement with the lowest phase error. This creates an extremely accurate system for measuring high currents with a frequency range of up to 2MHz. For the current sensor components they also develop accessories such as transducer power supplies, load modules and output amplifiers.
For example, the MCTS II system consists of 1 to 6 channels built into a mainframe, which is also suitable for 19" mounting. The power supply for the zero Flux sensors is built-in. The current transducers naturally differ in output ratio, so we can use a direct current measurement with, for example, a power analyzer. However, there are also measuring instruments that require a mV/A ratio for an accurate reading. Both passive and active modules are available for this, depending on your application.
Sensors are available for 100, 200, 400, 500, 1000 and 2000 Ampere with a basic accuracy of 0.015% and a phase accuracy of 0.01 degrees.
For detailed specification, see MCTS data sheet.
For single channel applications there is also the TPS series.
