Smart Connector DS11
With the internal Smart Connector DS11, SCHURTER introduces a world first: an intelligent connector that can be installed as a power module in electronic devices and systems. Device manufacturers can thus offer their customers extensive additional functions in no time – without expensive development and engineering work.
Smart plug DT31
The new DT31 is an external plug-and-play and retrofit smart connector. The advantage of this connector variant is that it can be connected to an existing device quickly and without installation. Because users can quickly and cheaply connect existing devices to the pluggable DT31, it is ideal for monitoring the use and consumption of existing devices. In hospitals, for example, technical staff can use the Smart Connector DT31 to accurately monitor the operating hours of existing medical devices and determine how often the devices are in use.
Both connectors of the new SCHURTER Smart Products series have a WLAN connection. The internal DS11 also has a serial interface for a direct connection to the host device. Both Smart Connectors are IEC-60320 compatible.
The Smart Ecosystem from SCHURTER
With the introduction of the Smart Products, SCHURTER is taking a new path. The intelligent Smart Connectors are not just electronic components, but are part of a comprehensive, cloud-based software system. Users can access their Smart Products via SCHURTER's new Smart Ecosystem. The cloud services are free and are included in both the DS11 and the DT31. Depending on the customer's wishes, SCHURTER also offers four additional software packages with extended functions. Both Smart Connectors are accessible via the Smart Connector App.
Applications
Both new Smart Connectors convince not only with their easy installation, but also with their versatile functions. For example, the Smart Products can be used to monitor the energy consumption of electronic devices and equipment. The planning of preventive maintenance intervals and fleet management of electrical equipment also become more efficient and easier with the intelligent new Smart Products. Both the DS11 and the DT31 are suitable for monitoring and visualizing processes. The possibilities are virtually limitless.
