The P4 Li-Ion battery packs from Cleantron can be equipped with a fast charging function under certain conditions. This means that during charging, the temperature of the individual cells in the pack is mainly monitored. If this exceeds the set limit value, the charger will reduce its charging current slightly so that the temperature stabilizes again at accepted values. This does require an intelligent charger that communicates with the pack via the CAN bus. The Cleantron batteries and Delta-Q chargers are optionally equipped with this firmware so that fast charging with the aim of SoH 80% in one hour should be possible.
