Quantum technology requires hybrid platforms, in which different quantum systems are combined, which must function under optimal conditions. With 'molecular spin ensembles' one sees possibilities to integrate quantum memory in microwave architectures. The speaker of CN Rood elaborates on this subject. The specialist knowledge is applied in several areas. Onno de Meijer of DARE!! Projects will delve deeper into a development of a 6 channel Ku-band Multi Carrier test system for high power microwave testing of satellite components. For RF technology experts specific expertise can be found in the program.

DARE!! develops and builds a 6 channel Ku-band (10.7 to 12.8 GHz) Multi Carrier tester for MultiPactor research on satellite components for CAST504, Chinese Academy for Space Technology in Xian China. The speaker will discuss the new subsystems to be developed, in which a new way of phase stable generation of IF signals will be discussed.
CN Rood is going into depth testing molecular spin ensembles around storing and retrieving microwave pulses when embedded in planar superconducting microwave resonators. The studies use specialist testing technology.
The efficiency of addressing the molecular ensembles with different pulse sequences at low temperature is investigated. To generate microwave sequences, Arbitrary Wave Function Generator from Active Technologies and heterodyne scheme for echo detection are used. The research results provide a proof-of-principle of the memory capacity of molecular spin ensembles, when embedded in quantum circuits.
