Teclen® Lyoprotect: the key to safe freeze-drying

Teclen® has developed a very unique idea for designing and manufacturing freeze-dry packaging for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), making product loss impossible and minimizing the risk of contamination by foreign particles or airborne germs.

The key to safe freeze-drying is the Lyoprotect® membrane. During sublimation, the vapour can escape smoothly through the hydrophobic membrane. Normal freeze-drying process parameters determined with an open package can be adopted and lead to the same drying results.

With Teclen® freeze-drying packaging you can fully concentrate on the development of APIs or formulations, without worrying about contamination or product loss. Teclen Lyoprotect® products are suitable for freeze-drying in bulk trays as well as in vials. Since this year, Teclen® products are available at SALM EN KIPP, also a dealer of the well-known Christ freeze-drying systems.
