On Wednesday, July 6th, after a long time, another Development Club meeting took place in physical form. We visited it with a group of members FabLab in Enschede and Development Club member KITT Engineering.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the members were welcomed with open arms by former FHI colleagues Birgit Albersen, now working as a project leader at the FabLab in Enschede. While enjoying a delicious lunch, we started with an interesting brainstorm about the activities of the Development Club. For example, the wish was expressed to visit OEMs with burning development questions at future meetings. This wish gave rise to the first ideas for a meeting in the autumn.

Projects and facilities

After the brainstorming session, the group was guided through the various projects and facilities of the FabLab. For example, work is currently underway on a project for the recycling of artificial grass. The group then headed to the other side of Enschede to admire the new KITT Engineering building. Led by Andries Lohmeijer a variety of projects were reviewed, after which the afternoon ended with drinks.
