TURCK presents new IO-Link masters from the Efficiency Line with eight IO-Link ports, which can also be used as standard IO modules.
The cost-efficient modules are designed for a wide range of applications where less stringent requirements are placed on, for example, power and temperature range, but which still offer just as much functionality for connecting smart sensors and actuators based on IO-Link.
With onboard multiprotocol technology, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, ModbusTCP, and CC-Link IE Field Basic are supported, enabling complete IO-Link applications to be realized cost-effectively and protocol-independently within Industrial Ethernet networks, entirely without the use of a central control cabinet.
Designed for versatile applications without high requirements
The Efficiency IO-Link masters feature efficient housing technology with an IP67 protection rating, and are suitable for ambient temperatures from −25 to +60 °C, and aDepending on the variant, the ports supply up to 1A.
An integrated web server with an IODD configurator significantly simplifies the configuration of connected IO-Link devices, thereby reducing commissioning time.
Typical application areas are smart sensor applications where multiple IO-Link devices are connected and configured directly in the field, and are also transparently and intuitively accessible for diagnostics and service.
