Expansion of third support package corona measures
The government's recent corona measures are causing the economy to suffer new blows. To compensate for this, the government has decided to make extra money available for entrepreneurs who are particularly affected. The basic principle remains: the more loss of turnover, the more support.
The government is allocating approximately half a billion euros extra on top of the existing support package. This mainly concerns an expansion of the regulations from the third package. This support package is now temporarily accessible to all sectors. This, for example, helps companies that are indirectly affected by the crisis. This includes suppliers.
The TVL (Fixed Expense Allowance) is being expanded. This regulation provides a compensation for fixed costs to help entrepreneurs pay their fixed costs, such as monthly rent. The TVL is now temporarily open to all sectors. 140 million euros has been reserved for this and the scheme can be applied for from mid-November via the RVO.
Companies and suppliers in the events industry also receive additional compensation. The government will provide them with a one-off additional compensation based on the TVL compensation before the summer. This concerns a group of an expected 800 entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, the so-called Time Out Arrangement (TOA) is also taking further shape. This scheme gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to temporarily put their company into hibernation. When the corona crisis subsides, they can start again. This means that healthy companies do not have to file for bankruptcy. The government will further develop the TOA scheme in the coming weeks. When more is known about this, we will inform you further.
Catering entrepreneurs can also claim a subsidy for stock and adjustment costs. The government gives them a one-off subsidy to compensate costs incurred. This includes making the company 'corona-ready'.
