Invitation Impact2021: the impact of science on society
Next Wednesday, January 20, the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and the Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU), together with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, are organizing the online event Impact 2021. The central theme is the broad impact of science on society.
The event will take place from 14:30 to 17:00. The host is Lieven Scheire and he will enter into an interactive dialogue with the speakers. Guests include Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven, State Secretary Mona Keijzer and professors Beatrice de Graaf and Ben Feringa. special envoy from Techleap.nl Constantijn van Oranje and chairman of the VU Amsterdam Mirjam van Praag. They talk about the broad impact of Dutch science and the role that the government plays in this.
Impact 2021 will be broadcast from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and can be followed via a livestream. It is also possible to ask questions and make comments through various digital tools.
