With the MB2530, Maxbotix has developed an ultrasonic detector specifically for cargo detection in trailers. This sensor combines accuracy and a large measuring range. The resolution is one centimeter at a range of 50 to 1650 cm. A built-in filter ignores any disruptive reflections from, for example, unevenness in the side walls. The extremely compact sensor with a surface area of only 2.5 cm2 can be easily integrated. For optimal operation, a sonar circuit has also been integrated, which guarantees 100% detection.
