Extension of crisis measure for reinsurance of supplier credits
FHI, Federation of Technology Industries – October 8, 2020
In April, the central government announced a guarantee of 12 billion euros to guarantee the continuity of credit insurance. The Cabinet has decided to extend this measure until April 2021.
Extending this measure is of great importance for companies in the technology sector, for example. At the start of the corona crisis, reports emerged that credit limits were being lowered or even terminated. This would bring companies to a standstill and this would have major consequences for the entire trade chain.
