Fire safety cabinets are intended for the storage of hazardous substances with ADR class 3. Practical examples usually indicate incorrect storage in a fire safety cabinet. We often encounter situations where acids and bases are stored in these 90-minute fire-resistant cabinets.
However, most acids and bases do not pose a fire hazard. They usually have an ADR class 8 coding and no additional danger. There are special cabinets in our range for this purpose. Our Acid Line is extremely suitable for the storage of these acids and bases. These cabinets are therefore not fire resistant. The construction is made of wood with a melanin layer on top. The drawers are all made of polyethylene or polypropylene and therefore have a high resistance to acids and bases.
The Acid Line has various models and they all carry the 'TÜV High-Quality label'. All cabinets are ventilated diagonally and each compartment has an extraction grille at the rear. Good extraction is essential for the preservation of the cabinet. If there is no ventilation on the cabinet, the cabinet will be damaged from the inside (see photo). This means a very short lifespan. You can always contact us for advice about the extraction capacity.
