When a lithium-ion battery ignites, extinguishing the fire is not a solution.
When a lithium-ion battery ignites, extinguishing the fire is not a solution. The chemical process going on in the battery must come to an end itself. The only solution is to make the fire manageable by compartmentalizing the batteries in a BATTERY cabinet to limit the chance of a chain reaction.
• cabinet as a whole (cabinet + charging stations) fully certified according to NEN EN 14470-1 + TÜV High Quality
• doors close automatically if a fire occurs in the cabinet or outside and are locked to prevent backfire in the event of fire
• the air heated by loading is extracted at every level
• four charging stations per compartment, compartments are fire-resistant insulated
Battery Safety Cabinets
The Battery XL safety cabinet is specially built for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries. The cabinets have a number of additional functions that increase safety and working comfort. A special feature is that the doors close automatically, even if a fire occurs inside the cabinet; an important extra in the storage of lithium-ion batteries that can self-ignite in the event of malfunctions. In addition, the doors always lock.
Charging stations
We can install charging stations in the Battery XL, so you can charge the batteries in the safest way. Each compartment is linked to a separate group, which is switched off in the event of an emergency.
