Our FHI partner for prevention and absenteeism is ArboNed. It's great that we are very happy with this collaboration, but what do you as a member think about that?
I (Jori Hoving – FHI) spoke to Martin Buser, compliance & HR officer of Mathot Medische Speciaalzaken – Royal Supplier of Medical Devices, about their experiences.
In short and powerful words, Martin indicates that they are happy with their choice for ArboNed. 'The short lines and permanent contacts in particular give confidence'. Mathot missed that at a previous occupational health and safety service provider.
Fixed point of contact
Their permanent point of contact (both the company doctor and the director) is familiar with the company, which is a real advantage. The lines on absenteeism files are short and communication is fast, allowing necessary actions to be taken towards employees in a timely and effective manner. And they regularly consult and evaluate with each other about what is going on next.
Collaboration HBR/Klap
In addition, ArboNed collaborates with HBR/Klap Insurance Broker for absenteeism insurance. According to Martin, this means that Mathot has largely been 'relieved' in the area of absenteeism with confidence.
Pleasant for Mathot and for the employees. Over the years, they have also purchased more services from ArboNed, including RI&E, workplace investigations, a confidential counselor and the Preventive Medical Examination.
