Water plays a role in many industrial processes. This can be in different forms: steam, process or product water, but also as waste water, for example. During the Water Technology within Industrial Processing seminar organized by Water Alliance, various innovative water technology companies will present their innovations in an interesting way.

The technological aspects of the various innovations are discussed, with special attention to practical examples. This includes filtration, separation and purification techniques to disinfection and analysis.

Who will be on stage and what topics can you expect?

Wafilin Systems – Eric van der Wal

Due to the rapidly increasing energy prices, it is becoming increasingly necessary to optimize processes. Strategically installing membrane filtration systems in existing processes can bring enormous benefits to the industry. Eric van der Wal provides insight into the technical possibilities to reduce water and energy consumption. He uses the concentration of protein-rich streams such as potato juice as an example. Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis reduce energy and water consumption and expand production capacity.

VDH – Joost Edens

With increasing pressure on food quality and reduction of unwanted by-products, In-situ generation of chlorine can change specific aspects compared to bulk chlorine and other disinfectants. What does change, and what does not change? Joost Edens will tell you more about this.

Van Remmen UV – Albert-Jan Foederer
Safe and clean water without additives. What exactly is UV disinfection and how do you apply it successfully in practice? Albert Jan Foederer from Van Remmen UV Techniek takes you to the basics of this technique and application.

In addition to the above companies, Coos Wessels from Cirtec and Georg Eierkaufer from Flottweg will present their techniques.
