Workflow optimization and control, how do you do that?
Workflow optimization, ISO and certifications, quality and continuity, all things you deal with every day in your lab. But how do you arrange this as best as possible so that you are and remain in control? During LabAutomation, two colleagues explain how they approach it. Tom Groot-Zevert van Medlon gives his vision and approach to audits and certifications. Rob Hukema presents how EMMTEC | services has translated five optimization programs into a software solution.
Being in control and, above all, staying in control, that's what Medlon, supplier of medical laboratory diagnostics. During his presentation, Tom Groot-Zevert, Quality Officer at Medlon, shares his vision and approach to audits and certifications, such as the ISO 15189 standard. Medlon is not only concerned with becoming certified, but also with remaining certified. They use the QHSE software for an overview and insight into the results of (conducted) audits and inspections and to implement improvement measures. During this session you will hear how Medlon remains in control and how they can guarantee continuity and quality.
The lab of EMMTEC | services is part of an industrial park and facilitates customers in the park. The lab wants to focus more on customers outside the park in the coming years. To prepare the lab for this, five optimization programs have been defined: scanning, workflow management, electronic lab journal, a portal for entering analysis requests and reporting via dashboards. In his presentation, Rob Hukema from EMMTEC talks about their considerations, wishes and the translation of these into a software solution.
