WoTS 2026 brings technology, knowledge, and people together

During WoTS 2026, thousands of visitors gathered to discover innovations, exchange knowledge, and meet peers. For four days, Jaarbeurs Utrecht was the technological heart of the Netherlands. Enthusiastic exhibitors and visitors ensured crowded aisles, lively stands, and plenty of substantive conversations..

In five exhibition halls, the World of Industry, World of Electronics, and World of Laboratory together formed one large technological meeting platform. More than 430 companies presented their latest innovations, services, and solutions there. The atmosphere on the exhibition floor showed what WoTS stands for: technology only becomes truly valuable when people share knowledge, ask questions, and explore new possibilities together.

Gadgets as eye-catchers on the exhibition floor

The exhibition projects also contributed to the success. The various gadgets brought visitors into contact with exhibitors and technology in a playful way. For the World of Industry, there was an industrial robot arm; for the World of Electronics, an EMI Sniffer; and for the World of Laboratory, a microscope and a pipette. The gadgets were not only popular collector's items but also a fun way to let visitors travel through the different worlds of the fair.

Packed venues and a strong substantive program

The seminar program attracted considerable interest throughout all days of the exhibition. Seminars, expert sessions, and panel discussions were regularly filled to capacity. Visitors gained up-to-date insights into developments within industry, electronics, laboratory technology, automation, and digitalization. It was precisely this combination of the exhibition floor and knowledge program that once again made WoTS a valuable meeting place for professionals.

Jarno Duursma's keynote draws full houses

One of the absolute highlights was the keynote by Jarno Duursma. His presentation on the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence attracted so much interest that visitors literally no longer fit in the room. It underscored how strongly AI is now alive within the technology sector and how great the need is for clarification, inspiration, and practical insights.

An achievement by exhibitors, visitors, and the FHI team

Behind the success of WoTS 2026 lay a tremendous collective effort. Exhibitors invested in inspiring stands, speakers shared their expertise, and thousands of visitors made time to gain knowledge and make new contacts. The FHI team also worked for months towards four intensive exhibition days where everything came together.

On to WoTS 2028

We look back with pride on an edition full of innovation, networking, and knowledge sharing. WoTS 2026 once again demonstrated how strong the technology community is when companies, researchers, engineers, developers, and end-users meet.
